Main Street in Montrose

This view of Main Street in Montrose is looking toward the west. Two blocks ahead is the main intersection in town (Main and Townsend), with State highway 550 to the left and U.S. highway 50 (which you are on) turning to the right. The brick inlaid islands that you see in the foreground were part of a recent street beautification program. The picture was taken in February of 1996.
